Hotel
All competing VGFW athletes receive complimentary hotel accommodations paid for by VGFW funding, and the rooms are booked directly by VGFW personnel. Rooms are double occupancy and shared with other VGFW athletes unless an athlete is traveling with a pre-approved medically necessary caregiver.

Transportation
The athlete is required to pay for any transportation TO and FROM the host hotel. This includes any flights, taxis, and vehicle costs.
The closest airport is the Oakland International Airport, which is about 8 miles from the venue.
Once the athlete arrives at the host hotel, all ground transportation to competitions and event socials will be provided.
