VGFW does not cover our Veteran’s individual travel costs to attend the competition. Once you are selected to compete, if you are in need of travel assistance to get to/from the event, you may be eligible for a grant from Challenged Athletes Foundation – Operation Rebound. Below are the details:
Who is eligible: Active duty, honorably discharged (general under honorable too) veterans and first responders: amputees, paralyzed, legally blind, severe TBI (affects motor skills) or other injury or disease that is classifiable by Paralympics.
